Still Working on the Childs Chair

Since I am in the middle of trying to close on my house, I seem to be spending less time in the studio. I am still working on this little child's chair. I hope to have it done sometime this week.

I like the way it is coming together. It is going to be so sweet!

The Child's Chair Continued...

The child's chair.....with 3 coats of paint. The seat only has one...because that is where the mosaics will go.

Besides the paint, do you see anything different from the original chair in this post? Let me know if you figure it out.

Thanks for all of your input on what to mosaic next! You suggested a clock, chalkboard, old window and a birdhouse. But the one item that got the most suggestions was a child's chair.

This sweet chair is an old oak children's nursery school chair. It stands about 25 inches tall. I started painting it today....Keep checking back for the finished chair, or sign up as a follower on my side bar and you will get notified when I post something new.

Charming Chippy Cottage Green Bed Tray

This turned out to be such a charming bed tray. I love the vintage chippy green paint. And the pink stained glass with the green. I just listed this on my website.

I am not sure what project I am starting next, which is unusual for me. We have been busy with company and trying to buy a new home, so my mind has been elsewhere.

What should I mosaic? What would you like to see? A birdhouse? A mirror? A vintage window frame? A teapot lamp? A child's chair? Or something else? Help me decide!

Chippy Cottage Green Mosaic Bed Tray

Here is what I am working on. It is the BEST chippy cottage green bed tray!

I love the way the vintage floral china pieces are playing up the old green paint. This should be finished in a few days.
